Matching Gifts

Did you know that many companies conduct their own charitable giving by "matching" the donations that are made by their employees? 

If you have given a gift to help Covenant House Pennsylvania, your company might match your gift, too - so please don't miss the chance to double your donation!

Every company operates differently, and the rules are governed by the company, not the nonprofit organizations that receives the gifts. Contact your Human Resources department to ask if your company has a matching gift program; if so, chances are that they have an online portal or they’ll give you a one-page form to fill out and mail to us. We’ll confirm the receipt of your donation and send the form back to your company, and then they’ll send Covenant House Pennsylvania a check.

This is a terrific and simple way to double the value of your donation. Please send an email to development@covenanthousepa.org after you submit a matching gift request, letting us know that you’ve done so. We can then respond to your company in a timely manner. Thank you for your support.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts 

Create a lasting tribute and honor someone special with a future gift in their name.

If you have a loved one who has been impacted by the mission of Covenant House Pennsylvania, establishing a memorial or tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor your loved one or celebrate a special occasion while supporting our ongoing work. Your gift will be a lasting tribute to your loved one and make a difference for the young people that we serve.

Making a Legacy Gift

After you have provided for your loved ones, you can leave a share of what remains to charity. Covenant House Pennsylvania is almost entirely funded through private donations, so gifts from people like you make everything we do possible.

In-Kind Donations

We rely on the generosity of our community to meet the needs of our youth. If you are interested in donating new clothing or other new items of need, we ask that you follow the guidelines below before making a donation.

Due to limited storage space, we are unable to accept any in-kind donations without an appointment. We will inform you, if the items you wish to donate are needed at this time. To view a list of commonly needed items, download the Wish List to the left.

Please note that we will not be accepting any in-kind donations before November 1, 2021 due to storage and staffing shortages. 

Please also note, we are no longer accepting used clothing of any kind as of July 1, 2021. This will be the policy moving forward. 

Gift card only donations do not need an appointment to be dropped off. Please see our Wish List for the preferred types and amounts. Thank you.
