In-Kind Donations

There are so many ways to support our youth and efforts to combat the homelessness epidemic. In addition to monitary donations, we are always accepting donations of items on behalf of our young people. Below are different needs we have and things we can accept at this time.

Please be aware that due to concerns such as COVID-19 and limited storage space at the moment, we are only requesting items that we will be able to immediately and safely distribute. Please contact development@covenanthousepa.org to learn about our wishlist items or a drive that you wish to organize and ensure that it is something that we are able to accept.

Due to safety and staffing concerns, all donations must be mailed or dropped off at our shelter at a time scheduled with our Development Team.  They can be reached at development@covenanthousepa.org or (215) 951-5411. We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time.

Matching Gifts

Did you know that many companies conduct their own charitable giving by "matching" the donations that are made by their employees? 

If you have given a gift to help Covenant House Pennsylvania, your company might match your gift, too - so please don't miss the chance to double your donation!

Every company operates differently, and the rules are governed by the company, not the nonprofit organizations that receives the gifts. Contact your Human Resources department to ask if your company has a matching gift program; if so, chances are that they have an online portal or they’ll give you a one-page form to fill out and mail to us. We’ll confirm the receipt of your donation and send the form back to your company, and then they’ll send Covenant House Pennsylvania a check.

This is a terrific and simple way to double the value of your donation. Please send an email to development@covenanthousepa.org after you submit a matching gift request, letting us know that you’ve done so. We can then respond to your company in a timely manner. Thank you for your support.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts 

Create a lasting tribute and honor someone special with a future gift in their name.

If you have a loved one who has been impacted by the mission of Covenant House Pennsylvania, establishing a memorial or tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor your loved one or celebrate a special occasion while supporting our ongoing work. Your gift will be a lasting tribute to your loved one and make a difference for the young people that we serve.

For donors that are giving a donation in "honor" or in "memory" of someone: Please note that by donating, you give permission for Covenant House Pennsylvania to release your information to the family of the deceased or to the honoree.

Making a Legacy Gift

After you have provided for your loved ones, you can leave a share of what remains to charity. Covenant House Pennsylvania is almost entirely funded through private donations, so gifts from people like you make everything we do possible.
